Field Usage Instructions:
1. Strapping the Bags:
First Group (Innermost Section Near the Borehole Seal): Use 2 bags. Bind them crosswise onto the extraction pipe, then wrap cotton thread around the end to prevent the mixed slurry from flowing further into the borehole after expansion, ensuring effective sealing at the endpoint. Secure the bags to the pipe using the provided transparent adhesive tape—only firm enough to hold them in place, not too tight.
Subsequent Bags: Stagger additional bags every 0.5–1 m along the pipe until reaching 0.5–1 m from the borehole entrance.
2. Kneading and Mixing the Slurry:
After strapping, proceed as follows:
Start with the first group: Pull out the separator rod from each bag.
Knead the bag vigorously with both hands in opposite directions for about 20 seconds to ensure thorough mixing of the slurry components.
Critical Timing: Control kneading duration strictly to avoid premature slurry reaction, which could hinder pipe insertion into the borehole.
3. Inserting the Extraction Pipe:
Immediately after kneading, insert the pipe into the borehole. For long sealing distances, begin insertion progressively after kneading each section to ensure the pipe reaches the target depth before slurry activation.
4. Sealing the Borehole Entrance:
Once the pipe is fixed, quickly pack cotton thread or cloth into the borehole up to the outermost bag. This ensures the expanding slurry fills and penetrates fractures near the entrance, enhancing sealing effectiveness.
Wait 30–60 minutes for full hardening before connecting to the extraction system for gas drainage.
